Basement Print is an independent textile screen-printing studio based in Villemomble, born in a basement turned into a creative space. Positioned as an underground, handcrafted alternative to industrial screen-printing, the studio thrives on authenticity, craft, and subculture energy. My role was to design a visual identity that captures its raw spirit and urban roots with a modern twist. An identity that feels alternative and unapologetically committed.

The urban imprint

The atmosphere of the basement is raw, uncommon, and fueled by passion. Posters and printed t-shirts fill the space, scattered yet intentionally arranged.

The silkscreen frame provided the inspiration for the concept of a canvas on which imagination could emerge, move and align.

My design approach aimed to capture this energy using raw photography and a bold, structured layout. Wordplay and expressive typography amplify the urban vibe at the heart of the brand identity.
